An important aspect of your tenancy agreement is the move in inspection report. Before you move in to your new home, your property manager will inspect the condition of each room, the external building and the gardens. You’ll receive a copy of the inspection report and have two weeks to make any changes or raise any concerns with your property manager. When you move out, this report will be used to check if there was any damage to the property during your tenancy (which impacts the return of your bond!) – so it’s a good idea to read the report thoroughly and ensure everything is right from the get-go.
